Dr. Cabrera and his very knowledgable and lovely assistant Lori were amazing. Did you ever have a doctor tell you that you don't need anything!!! It was more important to them to send me away rather than suggest surgery that wasn't necessary. Several years ago I had Mohs surgery on my nose by Dr. Jeffrey Marcus. He told me to make an appointment with Dr. Cabrera - he was the very best plastic surgeon. Today - you can barely see the delicate scar. His talent is second to none, but more importantly, he will never agree to perform surgery that he feels is not in his patients best interest. Dr. Cabrera explained what he thought was necessary and did not rush us. He also explained the reasons for his decision. The surgery was painless and there is no residual pain either. I have confidence that I am in good hands.

Recently my husband had surgery to remove a melanoma. Dr. Cabrera did a mose on our son about 12 years ago (substantial area) and there is absolutely NO scar. We hope for the same result with my husband. Dr. Cabrera went above and beyond to phone in a liquid pain killer for my husband since advil and regular tylenol were not touching the issue and initially he had trouble swallowing any pills. The post surgical directions are very clear. Wound site is healing well. Hope sutures come out net week.
