Botox in the stomach? Hu?

Wednesday, February 13th, 2013

A previous research study hinted that Botox injections in the stomach could possibly make a person feel fuller longer and promote weight loss. However, a more recent study which was conducted by Mayo Clinic shows that this is not the case.

Although Botox isn’t the answer for weight loss, it is a great choice for smoothing out those forehead lines, crow’s feet and the “11’s” between the eyebrows.

In addition, Botox can be used in the corners of the mouth to turn that frown upside down! Botox also has many medical indications, such as ocular muscle spasms, problems with eye coordination, severe armpit perspiration, migraine headaches, overactive bladder, and urinary incontinence related to nerve damage from conditions such as multiple sclerosis and spine injury.

As always, Botox and other injectable products should only be performed by Board Certified doctors who have the experience and credentials to deliver you safe and reliable results.

Dr. Rafael Cabrera is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is recognized as a “Master Injector”.

Dr. Cabrera would like to send a big “THANK YOU!!!!” to all of our patients who attended or donated to the “An Evening Aboard the Orient Express” gala, which was held at the beautiful Mar-a-Lago Club on March 5th, 2011. It was truly a splendid evening and a success for the Unicorn Children’s Foundation.  We have the most generous and kind patients and we thank you whole heartedly for your support.
